Join me for the advanced-level mixed ice climbing days in the breathtaking Pustertal region of the Dolomites. Explore the technical aspects of ice climbing, refine your skills, and tackle more demanding routes together with me. You’ll experience the untouched beauty of icy landscapes, plus, relax in the evenings with delicious food and sauna sessions.

Delve deep into ice climbing techniques, including efficient tool placements, precise footwork, and advanced rope work. Learn advanced safety protocols for navigating the frozen terrain, and explore a range of challenging waterfall ice routes, each with its unique character and level of difficulty.

Ready to go? Don’t forget to sharpen your crampons and ice axes. And place a few cams and chocks into your backpack before setting off.

Required skills:
– Basic proficiency in rock climbing and mountaineering
– Rock climbing minimum level 5a
– Basic rock climbing safety techniques and avalanche transceiver search
– Resilience to winter alpinism and harsh conditions
– Ability to walk with snowshoes (approximately 1 hour)

Organisational details:
– Group size: 1 – 3 participants
– Accommodation: comfortable hotel (single or shared rooms), half board
– Travel: your travel plans are individual and flexible, location can be reached by public transport
– Guidance: led by an experienced IVBV / UIAGM mountain guide
– Duration: 3 days course, joining for a day or two only is an option

Course Pricing:
– 3 days course & guiding fee: CHF 3,000
– Participant(s) rates: one participant CHF 3,000; two participants CHF 1,500 each; three participants CHF 1,000 each
– Note: Accommodation and travel expenses are not included in the course fees
