It’s a royal ski tour, less known than the famous Classic Haute Route but equally awe-inspiring. Let’s get the legs going, into the wild this coming spring.

The Monarch, the majestic white mountain massif, seen from afar.
Climbing the pyramid of the highest peak (4810m) in the Western Alps on skis is both a mountaineering dream and a real treat. Summit Mont Blanc via the normal route, combining adrenaline freeskiing with beautiful views. Get ready for skiing down the north face, crossing the Bosses ridge, and gliding back to Chamonix via the Bossons glacier.
Due to limited mountain hut space, it’s crucial to secure your spots early.
This alpine tour demands confidence in executing kick turns, strong skiing across diverse snow terrains, and prior experience with crampons and ice axe. Excellent fitness and acclimatisation required.

Join me for a ski-mountaineering tour to the lofty Dufourspitze, the highest peak in Switzerland. Named after General Guillaume Henri Dufour, this summit at 4634 meters reigns the Monte Rosa massif, and offers mountaineers a breathtaking panoramic view stretching across the Alps and beyond.
Ascent via Breithorn – Schwarze Gletscher or Theodul Gletscher to the Monte Rosa hut on day one. Early start towards the summit on day two. And then the thrill of skiing down begins.
Optional extension – day three: Cima di Jazzi skiing via Findelgletscher to Fluhalp.
