9. March – 14. March // 02. April – 08. April // 08. April – 14. April // 20. April – 26. April
and on request
The Haute Route is widely considered one of the world’s most iconic ski mountaineering traverses—a bucket-list journey connecting two legendary Alpine centers. First completed in the early 1900s, this route has drawn ski mountaineers for over a century with its unparalleled combination of dramatic peaks, challenging terrain, and stunning high-mountain landscapes.
Over 6 days, from one mountain hut to another, you’ll cross high mountains and glaciers, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
The advanced Valsorey Variant includes an overnight stay at the rustic Valsorey hut with an early morning climb up to the Col du Plateau du Couloir south of Grand Combin, followed by a crossing of Col du Sonadon. Another highlight is an overnight at a freshly renovated Chanrion hut, to be well rested for the highest summit approach Pigne d’Arolla via les Portons.
We’ll be ski touring through the breathtaking landscapes of the Swiss and French Alps. Adventurous days for avid skiers, with long morning climbs, memorable summits and yiiiihaaaay descents. Imagine gliding on springtime snow, traversing stunning terrain, and crossing majestic glaciers as you take in the views of Mont Blanc, Matterhorn, Dent Blanche, Grand Combin, and their companions.
Please note that this traverse is set in a technically demanding alpine playground, and as such, prior experience in ski-mountaineering is required.
