Alpine Progression Week

Waterfall ice climbing, ski touring, culinary experiences // Dolomites 2026

Dates: 04.01.2026 – 10.01.2026 and/or 25.01.2026 – 31.01.2026 and on request

Day 1: Introduction and First Steps
On the first day, we review avalanche rescue techniques and basic belaying skills. We adjust personal equipment together, distribute rental gear, and take a first hike to the waterfall. There, we practice basic ice-climbing techniques so that everyone begins the week safely and well prepared.

Day 2: Waterfall Ice Climbing
The second day is dedicated entirely to ice climbing at the waterfall. We practice crampon and movement technique, placing protection, building belay stations, and rappelling.

Day 3: Ski Tour
After a few cold, shaded days, we head out for a sunny ski tour. We make a relaxed ascent to a beautiful summit, enjoy the views, and finish with an enjoyable descent back down into the valley. A snowshoe tour is also an option. The day ends with a relaxing sauna session.

Tag 4: Rest Day, Sightseeing, Home office
A rest day for recovery and preparation for the upcoming alpine challenges. Time for relaxation, sightseeing – for example, a visit to Lake Prags (Lago di Braies) – or catching up on work if needed.

Day 5: Waterfall Ice Climbing
Refreshed and recharged, we return to the waterfall for some action. We review belay techniques and focus on lead-climbing practice, allowing everyone to further develop their skills and apply them safely, and with confidence.

Day 6: Waterfall Ice Climbing – Multi-Pitch Route
If the group dynamics and fitness levels permit, we tackle and easy, well-structured multi-pitch route. We climb in rope teams, with full guidance and support. This day refines multi-pitch climbing technique, belaying, and rope team coordination. To finish, the hottest sauna and a lively stop at the bar await us.

Day 7: Ski Tour
On the final day, we set out for one more beautiful ski tour. We enjoy the sun and the views, and let the week come to a relaxed close. The perfect ending to a demanding and adventurous week.
