Dolomites classics: multi-pitch, ridge traverses, and summit-worthy lines

Alpine rock climbing in the Dolomites is more than just a sport — it’s an unforgettable adventure, where the mountains challenge your body and inspire your soul.
With a minimum of just two days, this flexible course is perfect for climbers looking to challenge themselves on long, rewarding routes while sharpening technique and alpine skills.

We’ll explore the sunny faces of these dramatic peaks, planning each day based on conditions, group level, and ambition. Expect guided climbs with real alpine character – often lengthy, always worth it.

We’ll practise and refine:
– Multi-pitch climbing techniques and rope team efficiency
– Placing and trusting cams, chocks, slings, and natural protection
– Belaying using various anchor types — from in-situ bolts to natural features and pitons
– Rappel and lowering techniques
– Route-finding in complex terrain
– Climbing skills such as slab, crack, corners, and exposed ridge climbing

Cinque Torri – Perfect intro to multi-pitch climbing; accessible with a wide range of routes
Falzarego Towers & Cima Bos – Exposed, exciting climbs with traditional protection
Tofana di Ròzes – Classic alpine lines like the Tofanakante on solid, aesthetic rock
Tre Cime di Lavaredo – World-famous routes like the Dibonakante and Innerkofler Nordwand
Punta Fiames (Jori Arete) – Stunning ridge climb with a fun via ferrata descent
Cima del Lago – Steep alpine routes perfect for refining skills on natural gear
Traverse of Hohe Gaisl – A panoramic traverse through the stunning Fanes-Sennes-Prags Nature Park

We’ll base ourselves at Gasthaus Brückele / Albergo Ponticello, a welcoming alpine retreat offering delicious food and exquisite cuisine, as well as a cozy atmosphere and sauna — the perfect place to relax and recover after a big day on the wall.

This course is ideal for climbers comfortable on 4c–5c terrain who want to expand their skills, climb longer routes, and enjoy the challenge of alpine terrain with an emphasis on gear placement, anchor-building, and efficient team climbing.

Come for the climbing, stay for the view — and leave with new skills, strong memories, and a renewed love for the vertical world.
